Cellulose Pad 7060

When the paper layers of cellulose pads with a wavelength of 7 mm are placed on top of each other and form an angle of 60 degrees, cellulose pads are called model 7060. This model is especially used when higher air velocities are required, such as gas turbine pre-coolers. The dimensions of this model are according to the customer’s choice and based on the capacity and dimensions of the cooling system, and usually in this model, a drain or distributor is used in the upper part of the cellulose pad.

Cellulose Pad 5090

Cellulose pads consist of thin layers of corrugated paper. When the layers of cellulose pad paper with a wavelength of 5 mm are stacked on top of each other and form a 90 degree angle, the cellulose pad is called Model 5090. This model of pads is especially suitable for cooling air supply devices or
so-called air conditioners in residential, commercial, industrial and public places.

Maintenance

Koolancel cellulose pad has high strength and durability thanks to use of high-quality European raw materials and technology and its effective life can be enhanced to 3 to 5 years through proper maintenance. For this purpose, the following tips are recommended:

1 – Consumable water pH in the system shall range from 6 to 8.2 – The consumers are recommended to use urban water or well water with low dissolved particles and minerals (saline, recycled, chlorinated, and mineral waters and so on are vaporized during performance of the system and their dissolved substances precipitate by the course of time, damaging the pad and cooling system).

3 – Do not use chlorine, insecticides containing polysulfide barium and halogen compounds such as chlorine and bromide in the consumable water because use of the respective compounds will cause deformation of the cellulose pad in addition to system corrosion.
